ReplyDeleteI still remember our young days expressions of, "where got meaning la"?
And my contractor's, "I not be knowing". Ha ha ha.
We had some Malaysian friends with kids migrated here last year, and they all below 12 years, and the first 6 months, will have that expression, "adoi"! Or, "alamak.."!
Today, they picked up the Canadian expressions, "Holy Smoke"! Ha ha.
You stay easy, and pretend not be knowing, ha ha.

ReplyDelete"I not be knowing", kahkahkahkah! sometimes I feel like I'm teaching that "Mind Your Language" class, the words they use & the sentences they make! it's 'adoi' and 'alamak' for me every day..
it's hard but I'll try to pretend not be knowing, hahaha!
